NASDAQ: The earth's largest lakes have warmed over the last 25 years due to climate change, according to a study published Wednesday by the National Aeronautics and Space Administration.
The study, by researchers at NASA's Jet Propulsion Laboratory in Pasadena, Calif., found greater warming in lakes of the mid- and high latitudes of the northern hemisphere, particularly in northern Europe and Russia, and the U.S. West, than in low latitudes and the southern hemisphere.
