Brazil cripples illegal gold mining operations in indigenous territory

Mongabay: Brazilian police have arrested 26 people and confiscated gold and aircraft in a coordinated effort to tackle illegal gold-mining in the Yanomami Indigenous Reserve, reports the BBC.
