Canada: Pledge Sent to U.N. to Reduce Greenhouse Gas Emissions by 2030

Associated Press: Prime Minister Stephen Harper’s government said Friday that Canada would reduce greenhouse gas emissions by 30 percent below 2005 levels by 2030. The government said it had formally submitted its target to the United Nations Framework Convention on Climate Change, in advance of a major climate change conference in Paris in December.
