Climate change the new flood risk for Qld

Sydney Morning Herald: Queensland will be threatened by higher flood levels from intense torrential downpours brought on by climate change, a local government conference has been told. Councils throughout the state have been warned to stop worrying about how to cope with the rare massive floods that happen only once a century and focus more on the threat of climate change.
