Climate change will make India hotter, bring heavier rain

Times of India: By 2030, India can expect a 1 to 1.5 degree Celsius rise in temperature and more intense spells of rain. However, the number of rainy days will be fewer. This phenomenon will directly impact water conservation making it a necessary practice, experts from the Indian Institute of Tropical Meteorology (IITM), Pune have said.
