Illegal waste sites identified

BBC: The Environment Agency says a new taskforce has led to a sharp increase in identifying illegal waste sites. The taskforce tracked 400 new sites in just three months, bringing the total to 1,195 in England and Wales. The government agency says the dumps pose risks to people and the environment, and that shutting them down is a top priority.
